Business Office Assistant
Supervisor: Business Manager
Regular Hours: 35-40 hours week
Schedule: Flexible schedule Monday-Friday (General schedule is 8am-5pm)
Wage: $ 16-20 hourly DOQ/DOE
Summary: Under supervision of the Business Manager; provides office, accounting, and HR support for the Boardman Park & Recreation District main office. This position will be required to work at least one night per month to attend monthly board meetings. Additional nights may be required if additional workshops or board meetings are scheduled outside of regular board meeting nights.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs daily mail and bank deposit run for the Recreation Center and Campground
- Maintains files in Business office
- Processes accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconciles daily transactions for campground and recreation center.
- Updates statistics and unearned revenue spreadsheets
- Create new hire packets as needed for HR and arranges interviews
- Takes minutes at monthly board meetings and helps with preparation of board packet.
- Maintains office supplies inventory
- In absence of business manager, process bimonthly payroll
- In winter months, will help with processing of extended stay patrons in the campground.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications
1 year accounting experience and High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
